In this year, Julius Caesar in Egypt, an Italian opera by George Frideric Handel premiered in London, and these wonderful large antique sterling Silver George II casters were created.

Traditionally used in a formal dining setting for sprinkling sugar or cinnamon, they now make wonderful objects for collectors, and those who appreciate fine tableware. This handsome pair would also make a lovely wedding gift.

Height of each is 14.cm. Lightly monogrammed for J.R.M.
