9ct Gold Opal and Ruby Scorpion Brooch

Gold opal and ruby scorpion brooch, with ruby set eyes.  Each pincer comprising a line of graduated circular cabochon opals in clawed collets.  The slightly arched body similarly set with four legs either side.  A segmented tail culminating in a stinger, rub over set with a pear mixed cut ruby. Pin and roller catch. 75mm x 35mm. Marked and tests as 9ct gold.
