French Sewing Set

Delightful boxed sewing implements, French c1790. A beautifully aged leather case, with gold-tooled Belle Epoch decoration to the exterior, the interior silk and velvet lined. Inside, the daintiest pair of gilded scissors, gilded needle case, un-picker, threader and thimble. Even though there is room, the implements bear no monogram. A wonderful addition to any collection.
