An antique Viennese cased pipe circa 1901

Viennese timber and bakelite cased pipe with silver trim. A well-made pipe with silver hallmarked trim for 1901. The original leather case has a peacock blue velvet interior, and declares that it is “Sterling Silver Hallmarked”. Despite it’s age it still snaps shut firmly. A great piece of Victoriana for collectors and pipe smokers alike.
