1930’s Diamond Twist Ring
Following the craze started by Coco Channel in the 1920’s for practical and comfortable style, fashions began to take on a more feminine feel, and jewellery design followed. Although many pieces were still being manufactured in platinum, the designs were now softer with gentle flowing lines, such as this platinum and diamond ring.
The two old cut diamonds total 0.70cts, and the band is set with 12 smaller diamonds. A truly beautiful piece and a lovely example of the period in which it was designed.
