Whitby Jet Bangle

Individual curved graduated panels of highly-polished jet, with the central panel engraved with a heron having captured a serpent in it’s long beak, symbolising goodness prevailing over evil.

Newly strung on clear nylon elastic, this striking piece is in excellent condition. English C19th.
