19th Century Sardonyx Cameo Brooch

A 19th century sardonyx cameo brooch in a 15ct gold 6 claw frame featuring a, exquisitely carved detailed maiden with a long plait of hair and a rope of pearls. Visible are the graduating carnelian colours culminating in a layer of white onyx. Safety chain applied.
